After my wife left me, I needed time to recover. But, once I had decided that it was time for me to look for a new partner, it took only a few short weeks before I had a steady relationship with a very special woman.
Why did it take me two-and-a-half years to find the woman I wanted to marry and only a few weeks to find someone new? I had not changed. OK, that is not quite true: I was older and had more grey hairs than before!
The main difference was, that I was able to apply the skills that I had learned before I was married to find a new meaningful relationship.
